Geoffrey Norman is the autho In addition to mountain climbing, Norman has written about scuba diving, car racing, canoeing, ice climbing and a number of other pursuits including training a yellow lab with another daughter. Norman is a native of the Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast where he still spends time, though for several years now, he and his wife have called Vermont – where they raised their two daughters – home. Norman is currently working on a young adult novel set during the American Civil War and an account of his experiences raising and training an obstreperous and irresistible English Pointer named Jeb Stuart.
